Pure Joy

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1: 2-4

I have been pondering on that verses for quite sometimes now. It is such an amazing and powerful verses, written by James thousands of years ago and yet still so real and relevant in our lives today. Sometimes we need to be reminded again and again that this process that we all have to go through, God intended it to happen. There has been many times when I question God, "Why?" just simply because I don't understand and it is so hard to go  through it. But God is really teaching me that it's not the 'why' that counts, it's the 'what'. We need to have that perspective that knowing that all these happen for a reason and at the mean time, keep focusing our eyes to the Lord and not to the problems and ourselves.  It is a matter of the heart attitude, it's a matter of whether we choose to be rejoice in it or complain to God all the time. This is not an easy thing to do by any means, but we are all learning, and as long as we are learning there is always a room for grace.

This Month:
Great things has been happening among our youth group. We have about 40 kids under our leadership and me and 4 other Thai friends are forming a team to lead this group together. Cell groups has been moved by the Holy Spirit and we are starting to see the unity formed among each members, it is such an exciting thing to see! Here's a short clip of what the cell group looks like

A few people from our group are graduating from the university this month and it's going to be a huge celebration all over the city.
And at the end of this month, Pastor Harold from EWC, my supporting church in Indiana, USA is coming to visit me and to see what God has been doing here in the city. I know that he will be a great blessings to us here.

I was just asked to be a part of city wide youth gathering as one of their committees. I am so blessed to be handed to this opportunity, I know that God is going to enlarge his Kingdom here in Thailand through the young people. I am so amazed of how fast this group is growing and how God moves so rapidly among the people here in Thailand. It is the time when the great harvest is coming to Thailand.

Thank you so much for all your prayers!! God is moving!

The "Joshua For Jesus"group all said hi to you. :)
