Pure Joy
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1: 2-4 I have been pondering on that verses for quite sometimes now. It is such an amazing and powerful verses, written by James thousands of years ago and yet still so real and relevant in our lives today. Sometimes we need to be reminded again and again that this process that we all have to go through, God intended it to happen. There has been many times when I question God, "Why?" just simply because I don't understand and it is so hard to go through it. But God is really teaching me that it's not the 'why' that counts, it's the 'what'. We need to have that perspective that knowing that all these happen for a reason and at the mean time, keep focusing our eyes to the Lord an
