Why don't we desperately seek Him?
I was in the car, traveling from the south of Thailand back to Chiang Mai. It has been a long ride, we were probably 10 hours into our trip and we still have about 8 hours left. So I decided to listen to an audio book called "Radical" by David Platt. The book is about forsaking the American dream and pursuing the Lord. It doesn't seem relevant to me at that point but I decided to give it a try. And of all the things he said, one sentence really stuck to me. "Why don't we desperately seek Him?" I mean, when we are in need of something great, why don't we desperately seek Him? I know that it is our human nature, the constant battle that is in our mind that hinders us from seeking the Lord. But we have been redeemed and now we are being transformed in his likeness and image, we should want to seek him. Like for me personally, my heart longs for Him, I want to feel Him, touch Him and understand Him more and more. But in the reality, I'm more likely n
